Teezee has no accounts, no ads, and no cross-app tracking. Your cities stay on your own devices. The little that Teezee does send is anonymous, and you can turn it off.
What stays on your devices
Teezee saves your city list and display preferences, such as your time format and home city. This information lives on your device and, when iCloud is available, in your personal iCloud account.
Apple’s iCloud Key-Value Storage syncs these preferences between your own devices. XenoCode has no account system and no way to read what is in your iCloud account.
Usage data (optional)
Teezee uses TelemetryDeck for privacy-preserving product analytics, so we can see which parts of the app people actually use and improve them. It records aggregate interactions such as screens opened, onboarding progress, and feature usage.
TelemetryDeck identifies a device with a salted, hashed anonymous identifier. Teezee does not send city names, contact information, the advertising identifier (IDFA), or any other identifying content. This data is not linked to your identity, is never sold, and is not used for cross-app tracking.
You can switch this off at any time with Share usage data in Settings.
Purchases
Apple handles every purchase. Teezee uses RevenueCat to check them, and RevenueCat processes purchase history and anonymous entitlement information for purchase validation, restoring purchases, app functionality, and aggregate sales analytics.
XenoCode does not receive your name, your payment details, or any advertising identifier.
Weather
Weather is optional. When it is on, Teezee sends the coordinates of the cities you saved to Apple Weather to fetch current conditions — nothing else goes with them.
Teezee does not ask for your device’s location, and it does not store those coordinates on a XenoCode server.
What Teezee does not do
- No ads and no advertising identifiers
- No selling of your data
- No cross-app or cross-website tracking
- No XenoCode accounts and no XenoCode server holding your cities
- No access to your device location, contacts, or photos
Your choices
Turn Share usage data off in Settings to stop analytics. Turn weather off to stop weather requests.
Deleting Teezee removes its local information. To manage information synced through iCloud, use the iCloud settings associated with Teezee on your Apple devices.
Changes to this policy
If Teezee’s privacy practices change, this page will be updated with a new effective date. We will say what changed rather than quietly widen what we collect.
